What We Collect

Nothing. Backcheck Labs does not collect, store, or have access to any data you enter into BackCheck Hockey.

Where Your Data Lives

All data you create — teams, rosters, games, and statistics — is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. At no point is this data accessible to Backcheck Labs.

Your app preferences (such as which stats to display) are stored in your device's standard preferences storage and remain on your device only.

Subscriptions & Purchases

BackCheck Hockey offers an optional annual Pro subscription processed entirely by Apple. When you make a purchase:

• Payment is handled by Apple through the App Store
• We never see your payment information, Apple ID, or billing details
• Apple's privacy policy governs all purchase transactions

To manage or cancel your subscription, visit Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device.

Trial Period

BackCheck Hockey includes a free 5-game trial. The trial game counter is stored in your device's secure Keychain — a protected, encrypted storage area managed by iOS. This information never leaves your device.

Analytics & Tracking

We do not use any analytics tools, crash reporters, advertising networks, or tracking technologies. We have no visibility into how you use the app.

Data Sharing

We do not share any data with third parties because we do not collect any data to share.

Children's Privacy

BackCheck Hockey does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. The app is appropriate for all ages.

Your Data, Your Control

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control:

• View your data — it's all visible within the app
• Delete your data — delete the app to remove all associated data from your device
• Export your data — use the in-app season and game report export feature

Support & Contact Communications

If you contact us by email for support or other inquiries, we will receive your email address and the contents of your message. This information is used solely to respond to your request and is not shared with third parties, used for marketing, or retained beyond the time needed to resolve your inquiry.

Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date above. Since we collect no data, changes are unlikely to affect your privacy.
